Tim A. Wallis, Writer/Creative Director

With over 30 years experience as a Copywriter and Creative Director, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every assignment. After graduating from Indiana University with a BA in Journalism he went on to
build creative departments at Wallis & Associates and Shepard Poorman Communications before starting his own agency named Jehs & Wallis, which would later become Meyer & Wallis.

For nearly 22 years Tim guided the creative efforts of this shop in both Milwaukee and Indianapolis. In the process, he has helped define local, regional and national brands in industries ranging from retail and health care to energy, homebuilding and consumer packaged goods. Honors include Communication Arts, The One Show, Effie Awards and over 150 Addy’s with numerous Best of Shows that featured both print and broadcast work. Tim has also received his certification in The Professional Screenwriting Program from UCLA.

He’s equally at home steering the creative endeavors of a $40 million-a-year advertiser like Meijer, which he did for nearly 10 years, as he is in developing a successful campaign for the Boy Scouts of America with virtually a non-existent budget. Whether it’s building brands or moving merchandise, Tim believes every print ad, billboard, broadcast spot or web banner is an opportunity to further establish a company’s personality. To that end he works diligently to make each execution unique, compelling and memorable.
